Horde Lord

Horde Lord is a print-and-play, two-player, 10 to 15 minute strategy game. 

Summoned monsters are concealed by the fog of war (played face down) on the 9 square grid until they run into each other and they're flipped over. Combat is a chain reaction until no two monsters are next to each other, or you've destroyed a chunk of the opponent's castle. There is no mercy, and the more monsters that are out, the bigger the gamble, as you expand across the board to the enemy's walls.

Each monster is unique. Crab men are super strong moving side to side, but weak head on. Slavers control the opponent's monster if they win combat

Combat is determined by the sides of the monsters that are touching and any special powers they have on their card.

22 monster cards, 6 castle wall cards, a map, a turn marker and two rules pages that can be folded into thirds to act as 'secrecy screens' to spread out your monster cards.
